The Mozilla Firefox Club presents HACK-A-TOWN, a hackathon roller coaster ride to give you a chance to explore your strengths, networking skills and technology-related insights with VIT’s special Tech Geeks.

 

With a LinkedIn profiling session, an exciting mini-event, and most importantly the project building competition. Mozilla Club presents a promising collaborative environment to nurture your technical and non-technical skills. Come, participate with your coder friends, and win exciting prizes while learning and growing.

Requirements

Rules and Regulations : 

  • To be part of the event, one must have a Dev post account, with a complete profile.
  • Project will be submitted electronically on the Dev Post platform and will be tested by judges and feedback will be sent accordingly.
  • Any sort of unauthorized activity will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Participants can use any programming language they expertise in to come up with unique solutions.
  • During a contest if contestants come across technical problems or any doubt then they can post their queries in this form

Important things to keep in mind : 

  • This is a team hackathon. Hackers must form a team of 2 - 4 members.
  • It is mandatory for every member of a team to be registered for the hackathon on Devpost and through the google form.
  • We require all teams to submit a 2 minute or less demo video.
  • Your video must be created in the timeline of the hackathon [1st Sept - 4th Sept]
  • Your project submission must be completed within the submission period.
  • Your code must be available in a public repository.
  • Create your projects from scratch and during the hackathon only.
  • Do not submit projects from past hackathons or projects which were built before the hackathon. This will straight away void the hackathon guidelines and disqualify your submission.
